As 2017 came to a close, Chris Ellis with Hampton Inn served his final weeks as the Chamber’s President. Chris became a Board member in January 2012. He served as Treasurer in 2013 and 2014. Chris became President in 2015 and served for 3 years. Since Chris became a Board member, he has volunteered countless hours and supported all of the Chamber’s events financially. During his time as President, Picnic in the Park grew from serving grilled hot dogs to food trucks and fireworks. Chris was honored at our December luncheon at Polaris with a plaque to commemorate his years of service. Incoming President, Jessica Cliff presented him with this token of the Chamber’s appreciation. The Chamber and the Brooklyn community are grateful for his years of service. We wish Chris nothing but the best as he moves onto other endeavors!
