The 15th annual Taste of Brooklyn with a Twist Fundraiser, which benefits the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s Scholarship & Education Fund, was a huge success! Despite not being able to host this event in person, we still raised $2,650 towards scholarships and teacher grants! The event took place April 26th to May 1st. Local restaurants graciously donated “free taste” coupons for those that purchased tickets to the event. We also sold 50/50 tickets online. Brooklyn High School Jazz Band, lead by Sean Sullivan, concluded the event on May 1st with an amazing live streamed concert! They are truly a talented group of students!
The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is so thankful for all the people and businesses that donated to Taste of Brooklyn with a Twist and helped to make it such a huge success. We look forward to being able to be in person next year!
