My name is Janet Vedda and I am the proud owner of Mom’s Pierogies. Mom’s Pierogies is a family-owned business that I started in 2003. I originally started this business as a way to earn extra cash during the holidays while my husband was laid off from his painting occupation. It quickly grew into a thriving business and has since won awards like “People’s Choice” and “Grand Champion” at the Pierogi Palooza festival 4 years in a row! We feature my mom’s long-time recipe of Polish pierogies, stuffed cabbage and many other traditional foods that my dad, sisters and I all grew up with. All menu items are either my mom’s or my homemade recipes.
In 2018 we finally found the perfect spot to open our very first retail location. It was truly a dream come true and we are so excited to be a part of the Brooklyn community! Since opening we have received overwhelming support and we have had the extreme pleasure of getting to know many of our neighbors and surrounding businesses. We hope to continue to grow and thrive here and we hope to continue to get to know more about this amazing community. Come visit us if you haven’t already. We make fresh pierogies daily and have many varieties available frozen everyday. We also serve hot takeout for those that are looking for a quick home cooked meal. Try one of our meal options like the pierogi meal (4 pierogies) or the stuffed cabbage meal (2 stuffed cabbages), both include 2 delicious sides. Many of our customers love the variety and value of our meals and can make a couple dinners out of all the food you get. We also offer catering options for all of your party needs and wholesale pricing for bulk orders.

Sunday and Monday: Closed
Tuesday, Wednesdays and Fridays: 11am to 7pm
Thursdays: 11am to 5pm
Saturdays: 11 am to 4pm
We stop serving hot food items a half hour before we close for the night.
