Active shooter incidents happen everywhere, even in Northeast Ohio. The Brooklyn Police Department, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, want to provide public access to valuable training that they would probably be unable to get any other way. Our active shooter training is led by Brooklyn Patrolman James Roach, who said that “last year, there were 27 incidents stateside, with 85 people killed. Our goal is to inform the public and take away some of the fear of an active shooter incident. Our training is a good community policing tool that enhances our relationship with our citizens.” The luncheon will be at 12noon. Cost is $15 for members and $20 for non members and is being held at the Hampton Inn in Brooklyn. Click here to register…
