Congratulations are in order to Dollar Bank! Dollar Bank was our 2012 Large Business Member of the Year Recipient. The award was presented at our Annual Meeting on November 8th.
Dollar Bank Brooklyn Branch has been a strong supporter of the Chamber since they joined in 2005. The manager of that branch, David Hill, has volunteered countless hours serving on our Board of Directors as Treasurer, Vice President, and his most recent appointment to President of the Chamber for 2013. Dollar Bank has supported all of the Chamber’s events through sponsorships and providing volunteers to help make our events a success. Dollar Bank was one of our Gold sponsors this year for Picnic in the Park, the highest level of sponsorship for that event. They have donated countless promotional items, as well, to be used as prizes at our various events. David Hill, Kathy Gedeon, and Ron McNulty always make sure a Dollar Bank representative is at each of our monthly luncheon meetings. The Brooklyn Chamber and community are lucky to have such a supportive business in the area!

Congratulations are also in order to Greg Frey, State Farm Insurance! Greg Frey, State Farm Insurance, was our 2012 Small Business Member of the Year Recipient. The award was presented at our luncheon on December 13th.
Greg Frey was one of the Chamber’s founding members, back in 2002, and has been active ever since. He has been extremely supportive of the Chamber’s mission and in making our events a success. Greg has served on the Board of Directors both as Vice President and President. He has been very active in planning several of our large events, including Oktoberfest, Fall Fest, and Picnic in the Park. Greg Frey always supports the Chamber through event sponsorships. He also promotes our events and has spent countless hours volunteering his time to help make our events successful. Several of our members through the years are a direct result of Greg’s referrals. Greg Frey is a true asset for both the Chamber and the Brooklyn community!
